The Last Verse in John...

 

A few years ago, I read the last verse of John with new eyes. I've read it many times, and this time, it surprised me.

Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written. John 21:25 NIV

Have you noticed that verse before?

John was referring to the works Jesus had done while He was on earth. For JUST those years, the world could not hold all the books that would be written. 

I loved writing The Grace Writers. The lives of my characters are not all that different from ours. They're fun, kind, annoying, judgmental, misunderstood, and struggling through all that life throws their way. The journey they take together is one you'll find familiar. 

Life is not an easy path. But if we wrote all the stories of how God meets us on that path, I suppose even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written.
